The Big Bang Theory

The series begins with the arrival of the apartment neighborPenny, who share Sheldon and Leonard, two physicists, who work at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Leonard falls in love from the first moment of Penny.

 

Both are brilliant intellectuals in their work, friends turn to Howard and Raj, who are presented as a complete geeks, far removed from the concerns and problems of ordinary people. They are usually fed Thai food. Howard Wolowitz is an engineer pseudo-lover of Jewish origin. Astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappaliis a citizen of India. In the course of the series shows the difficultyof leading men to interact with people outside their environment, mainly female, resulting in comical situations.

 

The series contains a lot of comic situations and references to realphysical principles and theories, but are simplified to the maximum in order to be quickly understood by the audience thathas no studies in physics, mathematics or engineering.
