Layabouts
Layabouts born from the encounter of four young Madrid: Javi, Jon, Robert and Victor, who are joined in October 2005 to form a guitar pop band with a distinct British influence. It begins to run from the beginning and songs come naturally where the protagonist has the vocals and guitar riffs.
On April 5, 2006, barely six months as a group, makes its debut on the scenarios in the emblematic Madrid Moby Dick room with great success. The room showed a nearly full and the sound was impeccable, which made a record label responsible for this were set in them. Also, the heads of programming of Moby Dick were contracted to participate in the concert series for children The Music Box.
After a few months as a musician collaborator Marti is fully integrated into the band before the group gets into the study to record their first album. The quintet travels to the warm lands of Puerto de Santa Maria in March 2007, where they recorded with the production of Paco Loco Studios Odds their debut album.
The recordings were swift and were done in less time than initially expected and mixtures are sent Sonoland studies in Madrid, where Dani Altarriba is responsible for the mastering.
